SUNSET:

As the sun sets, with magnificence, on the Mandela era
The rainbow nation should pause to remember.
We have lived to see the great
In following his message we should not wait.
Freedom has come to rich and poor
Truth and reconciliation, we pray, will endure.
Many have suffered and given their lives
For a cause so great, they left young wives!
They were willing to go the extra mile
To see justice in place for all alive.
The old has gone, the new has come
He lived his message, forgiveness has won!

SUNRISE:

A new African spirit will now arise
With undivided heart and hope in its eyes.
Redeem respect, resolve, restore
Honesty, integrity, morality once more.
This new African spirit is now being born
Every 1st of September, a Spring Day dawns!
Arise!   Vuka!   Staan op!   Phakama!
Give of your BEST, expect nothing less!

A NEW DAY:

Who will go?   Who will stand?
To bring healing and peace to this beautiful land?
Let us go!   Let us stand!
Let’s pass on His Message to all in our land!
